Lactobacillus Casei Shirota Para El Fat Baby - Demo (Mexico)

Español: Los Lactobacillus son una banda ruidosisima de Monterrey, realmente no puedo describir su genero, es como los Inservibless, pero con ruiditos extraños. Tambien suenan algo the Locust, pero no tan maricas ni fakes, y muchisimo mas divertido. Segun ellos tocan "powerviolence con teclado chiflado" pero la neta mejor bajen su demo, escuchenlos, y ustedes saquen sus conclusiones. Tambien aprendance las canciones para cuando vengan a Guadalajara echar el bailongo e intentar cantarlas con ellos!

English: Lactobacillus Casei Shirota Para El Fat Baby are a noisy band from Monterrey, I can't really describe their genre, but their sound is something like los Inservibless, but with weird little noises in the background. They also sound something like The Locust, but not as fake or gay, and a lot more fun. According to them, they play "powerviolence with goofy keyboards" but you should get this demo, listen to it, and then get your own conclussions on what they sound like.

UPDATE

No eh podido mantener este blog al dia ya que eh estado super ocupado con la escuela, y unos business que traigo por ahi. Como sea, ahorita no tengo material nuevo ni interesante que subir, realmente no eh escuchado nada nuevo, pero si tengo algunas noticias sobre Survival Instinct Records, y la escena tapatia.
Estamos trabajando en algunos shows para este año, el unico que tenemos casi confirmado al 100% es para el domingo 22 de Noviembre, nos visitaran desde Monterrey los Lactobacillus Casei Shirota Para El Fat Baby, y desde Colima los Garrick y Katalina Paztrana, y como banda local lo mas seguro es que sean los Human Plague, como sea, todavia no tenemos ni lugar, ni flyer, ni precio, pero lo mas probable es que sea en el Calipso Bar, ya que tenga mas informacion los tendre al tanto, y sobre lo de no tener material nuevo ni interensante que subir, me equivoque, tengo el demo de los Lactobacillus, y creo que es el que subire, para que los chequen antes de verlos en vivo.
De ahi en mas hubo algunos rumores sobre bandas foraneas que vendrian a Mexico, y el organizador nos daria una fecha para Guadalajara, pero realmente no es nada seguro, y por eso no dare nombres de las bandas.
Para el 6 de Diciembre nuestro buen compa Rene, de la banda Satie, esta organizando el Polis & Ratas Fest 2 en Tijuana, y lo mas probable es que los Human Plague vayan a tocar para alla, y yo, como el buen roadie que soy, tambien estare ahi. Por cierto, tambien iran nuestros compillas chilangos los Nazareno el Violento, y Apocalipsis.
Y para finalizar este largo post que todavia me falta por traducir, el domingo 17 de Enero del 2010 sera el primer UnionFest en Guadalajara organizado por nosotros y Accion Directa, hasta ahorita las bandas que estan confirmadas por tocar son: Nazareno el Violento, Apocalipsis, Ave, Iwokk, Atroz Destrucciön, Saisie, Agoniza Madre Tierra, Friends & Enemies, Despues de Muerto, Calafia Puta, Violento Amanecer, y Human Plague. Todavia faltan algunas bandas por confirmar, ya que tenga mas informacion al respecto lo posteare por todos lados para que vengan!

I haven't been able to keep this blog updated because I've been super busy with school and all that shit. Anyways, as of now I don't have any new or interesting material to upload, I haven't even checked anything new really, but I do have some updates and news on the label.
We're working on a few shows for the next months, and the only one that's almost 100% confirmed is on November the 22nd. It's going to be Lactobacillus Casei Shirota Para El Fat Baby from Monterrey, Garrick and Katalina Paztrana from Colima, and probably Human Plague as the local band, anyways, we still don't have a venue for it, or cost, or flyer, but we're probably gonna do it at Calipso Bar. Actually, I do have some new and interesting material to upload, I have the Lactobacillus Casei Shirota Para El Fat Baby demo which I will upload, so you can check it out before you see them live, which probably won't happen, because you're reading this in english, which means you probably live outside Mexico.
There's been some rumours about some outside bands coming to Mexico, and us getting the date for our city, but we haven't heard anything more, so I won't mention which bands were supposed to come.
Our good friend Rene, from the band Satie, is working on the 2nd Polis & Ratas Fest in Tijuana, which will take part on December 6th, and Human Plague is going to be there, also our good friends from Mexico City, Nazareno el Violento and Apocalipsis will be there, so, if you live in California, you should totally hop the border for this fest and check out these amazing Mexican bands.
And to end this huge post, we're working on our first UnionFest, which will take part on January 17th 2010, so far the confirmed bands are: Nazareno el Violento, Apocalipsis, Ave, Iwokk, Atroz Destrucciön, Saisie, Agoniza Madre Tierra, Friends & Enemies, Despues de Muerto, Calafia Puta, Violento Amanecer, y Human Plague. There's still a few bands waiting to confirm.

The Flatliners - What A Waste (U.S.)

Español: The Flatliners son una banda de San Antonio, Texas (no confundirse con la banda skapunk canadiense), tuvieron una vida demasiado corta, y tengo entendido que nomas sacaron 2 discos, el What A Waste, y Safe Side Suicide. Estos vatos ponian un muy buen show, me toco verlos varias veces en vivo, y obviamente eran de las mejores bandas "locales" de ese entonces, junto con The Strap-Onz. Si te gustan todas esas banduchas que empezo a sacar la Punkcore, entonces deberias escuchar a estos weyes, para que sepas lo que es buen streetpunk, y vas a entender que el streetpunk de hoy es una porqueria. Ah, extraño Texas.

English: The Flatliners are a streetpunk band from San Antonio, Texas (not the shitty skapunk band from Canada), from what I know and remember, they had a short life-span and only put out 2 albums, What A Waste and Safe Side Suicide. These dudes put on a great show, I got the chance to see them live countless times and they were obviously one of the best local bands, besides maybe the Strap-Onz. If you're into all the shitty bands Punkcore put on, then you should give a listen to these guys and you'll realize that today's streetpunk is awful. Ah, I miss Texas.

Inservibles - Inservibles (Mexico)

Español: Los Inservibles son una banda de Mexico DF, tocan un punk ruidosisisisimo, tengo entendido que todas sus grabaciones las han hecho en estudios profesionales, y que jamas les gusto la calidad del sonido que le metian los ingenieros de audio, asi que una vez decidieron moverle al sonido ellos en el estudio de grabacion, y basicamente lo que hicieron fue subirle el trebble a todo, y el resultado fue caótico, si de por si estos vatos ya tocan bien pinche caótico, ahora con su desmadre de grabacion ni se le entiende a lo que grita el cabron vocalista, pero ni pedo, desde cuando nos interesa? La neta esta muy chido que bandas mexicanas hagan algo diferente a todo el maldito neo-crust melodico que estan tocando todos, de esto se trata el punk rock, de hacer el mayor ruido ofensivo posible!

English: Los Inservibles hail from Mexico City, they play very noisy punk rock, I understand that they've recorded a few times at professional studios, but didn't like the way their songs came out, thanks to the audio engineer, so this one time, they went to the studio, and they decided to equalize their recording to their liking, so basically what they did is they turned up the trebble all the way up, so the guitars and voice would sound even more distorted, the result was chaotic, you can't understand what the singer is saying, but it's not like we gave a shit anyways. For real, I'm happy that there's mexican bands doing something different from all the fucking melodic neo-crust that everyone's playing nowadays, this is what punk rock is about, being as loud and offensive as possible!

Rainy days, and nothing to do...

I'm bored to death, and this blog is pretty shitty and dull, so, I'm gonna try to do something about it... I'm gonna change some things around, I'm not going to upload all the random albums I used to upload anymore, I'm gonna write more about the label, the shows I go to, or random news I hear/know about bands I like, and I'll upload a couple of albums each week, depending on my mood, I'm also going to start writing in both spanish and english. Oh, and I'll also try to change around the look of the blog, see how that works out, since I don't really get it, but whatever...
